Update
Well, I've been back to work now for a couple of weeks. I'm with a new company, and while I like the company and my new colleagues (some of whom aren't so new as I knew them from Andersen and E&Y), I'm not very happy about working. I would very much prefer being home with Jonah. I know I'm only away from him for a few hours each week (I'm on a part-time schedule of 15 hours/week), but I hate even that amount of time away from him. I wish I had a good reason for doing what I'm doing, but, quite frankly, I reallly don't.
On a sunnier note, Jonah is getting very big. I'm in the process of trying to move up his four-month checkup. It's currently slated for September 10, but we're supposed to go to the beach that weekend with friends. However, I'm not having much success moving the appointment up because the earliest they can reschedule is the 28th, which would make it more like a five-month checkup. The only thing I can do is call several times a day to see if there are any cancellations.
Jonah is still taking the Zantac, which actually sems to be working now. The reflux is much improved, and feeding him has once more become a joy. It was scary there for a while, but it is so much better. The only issue we have now is what seems like occasional constipation. When he does manage to go, though, you can generally bet on there being an emergency load of laundry to do!

Jay's early checkups were 2-3 weeks late, so I wouldn't worry too much about it. If that's the best you can do, it's probably ok.
It was so good being over there Saturday night! I wish you didn't have to work, either... Thank you for supper (Blessings on you friends who feed me! :) ), and it was delightful getting to see what a big boy Jonah is. What round little cheeks, and what a wonderful little laugh!
OK, CEP, rub it in! But one of these days I'm going to get to meet Jonah too!! Hopefully this coming month =]
