Things Are Going Well
Jonah and I both had our two week check-ups today. We both seem to be doing well: Jonah now weighs two ounces above his birth weight and seems well in all other respects, and my incision looks very good according to my OB.
Jonah is still a bit of a mystery to us, but we're muddling through as best we can. We've managed to keep a baby alive for two weeks, so we can't be doing too badly! :)

Yep. All you need to do now is feed him and let him sleep. I'm glad he'll sleep by himself- Jay did his best not to! And then when he'd only gained a couple of ounces at his one-month checkup, I felt terrible. If your pediatrician doesn't mind you coming in to check his weight every so often, that can be helpful (or if you have your own scale, even better!)
He's a sweet boy, and I think you and Josh are doing wonderfully. Thanks for letting me come over to admire him last night!
He is very cute. I'm becoming convinced that little boys somehow get even better as time goes on! Congratulations!
