All smiles!

Note the shorter hair! OK, so there wasn't much there to begin with, but what was there was getting long and tangly, so we took him to Cartoon Cuts, and he screamed his little head off the whole time!

I think Jonah likes his new toy! It's been so cold and icy that I haven't been able to take him to the park in a long time, so we decided to get him an indoor climbing structure and slide.

A Gentleman In the Making?

I just had to break the lull in my writing in order to post this becase it is jst too cute and funny to keep to myself.

Over the past week, Jonah has taken to feeding me. Yes, my little 21-month-old likes to feed Mommy at mealtimes if given the opportunity to do so. It started out last Sunday when we took him to McDonald's for a treat. Instead of eating the French fries himself, he thought it was great fun to dip them in ketchup and put them in my mouth. This behavior continued over the week, including feeding me chicken nuggets dipped in barbeque sauce and helping my drink by tipping up my glass (with me holding on as well, of course). And then last night, he spooned chili into my mouth (he also managed to get some on my face, but what can you expect?). I don't know if he just thinks this is great fun, or if he thinks it's just typical behavior to feed the ones we love (or if he thinks Mommy isn't capable of feeding herself - hopefully that isn't the case and will never be the case, even if I manage to live to be 100). In any case, I think it's really cute. If he keeps up this behavior towards the women in his life, he'll have no trouble wooing the ladies! :)
