Growing Like a Weed

At his two month check-up, Jonah weighed 13 lbs 2 ozs, which put himin the 85th percentile for weight, and he measured 24 inches long, which put him in the 90th percentile for length. If he continues at this rate, he will grow up to be taller than either me or Josh. He has already pretty much outgrown almost all of his 0-3 month clothes (Len and Ebere, we'll be able to return to you all those great clothes you so generously let us borrow!) , and we're putting the 3-6 month clothes on him now. He doesn't appear to have too long to wait before he completely fills those out either! I'm glad I'm breatfeeding this child because we need the money we're saving by not buying formula to keep the kid clothed! :)

Happy Father's Day....

....to my darling husband and to the other men I know who are fathers. I think Josh has enjoyed his first Father's Day. He's been on a Star Wars kick ever since he saw Episode 3, so I decided to get him Episodes 4-6 and 1 on DVD to replace the VHS versions he already had. In addition, I also ordered an ice cream cake from his favorite ice cream shop, Coldstone Creamery. He seemed happy, particularly with the card he received from Jonah! "I think he had a little help getting that card," he said. Hmm, that may be.....! :)
